Colleen’s career as an entrepreneur and legal advisor spans more than 30 years. She was previously the Founder and CEO of NextGen Compliance LLC and, prior to that, Co-Founder and CEO of Signac LLC, a joint venture between Credit Suisse and Palantir Technologies. Most recently, she served as General Counsel at Boston Private Financial Holdings and its successor, SVB Private.
Earlier in her career, Colleen spent 20 years at Credit Suisse, where her roles included Managing Director, Global Chief Control and Operational Risk Officer, Co-Chair of the Operational Risk Committee for the Investment Bank, Head of Business Risk Management Private Bank Americas and Head of Compliance Americas. Her first professional roles were in the corporate law practices at Hughes Hubbard & Reed and Thacher Proffitt & Wood.
Colleen holds a B.A. in finance and marketing from the Boston College Carroll School of Management. She earned a juris doctorate at St. John’s University School of Law, where she was a St. Thomas More Scholar.
